Final (Collingwood v Essendon) and the Grand Final (Essendon v St.Kilda). Also the Football Record for the Victoria v South Australia Interstate Match on June 19th. (Total: 5). Essendon 14.21 (105) won the Grand Final over St.Kilda 9.16 (70) in front of 104,846 fans. St.Kilda centreman, Ian Stewart won the Brownlow Medal and his team appeared in a Grand Final for the first time since 1913.
