An unusual Edwardian sterling silver jewelled cup and cover, 1903 Sheffield, with maker's mark for James Dixon & Sons Ltd, an urn cup in the classical manner with stiff leaf motifs, formal borders and gadroons, a waisted and pointed finial to the cover, the body with two enamel, cupid plaques, and pink and blue cabochon jewels to the lid and foot, gilt, washed to the interior, hallmarked to upper body and lid rim, total weight 179gr height 16 cm
