A Povai, Tongan war club, made of dense wood, toa (ironwood or casuarina equisetifolia), chocolate glossy patina. Long cylindrical club ends with a haft, decorated with carved chevron motif acting as a firm grip for the club bearer to bludgeon the enemy's head.
