Jacko the Merry organ grinder and monkey by Distler, Germany, 1920s. Lithographed tin street-organ with spoked wheels, pushed by gaudily dressed gypsy; a monkey standing atop the organ. When wound, the man winds the organ which moves forward, the monkey jumps up and down, and music plays. Height 21.5 cm (8.5 inches).
