A 1937 620 Class tender steam locomotive, road number '624' (275 x 41 x 55 mm) designed by Fred Shea and built at Islington railway Workshops, black livery, 4-6-2 wheel configuration with three passenger carriages (total size with carriages 990 x 41 x 55 mm). (5 items) (the 620 series Pacific type locomotive was designed and introduced to fulfill the need for a fast and light passenger locomotive to work the recently completed broad gauge route between Adelaide and port Pirie. the '624' is preseved at the National railway Museum, Port Adelaide).
