Extremely fine and beautiful Chinese porcelain vase, with a spreading lip decorated with reserves of insects on flowers, on a fine ground of lotus flowers and ruyi heads, the shoulders decorated with roundels of dragons alternating with phoenix on a floral ground, the main body painted with reserves of peacocks and nightingales amongst flowers on a very fine ground of lotus flowers and vases, in tones of pink, green, blue and orange, with Qianlong seal mark to base, on wooden stand, height 41.5 cm (vase)
