Three fine Japanese Hirado covered tea bowls, Meiji period (1868-1912), each decorated in underglaze blue, consisting of a pair with one other of different design, the pair decorated with a design of birds resting in fruiting tree branches, the single bowl decorated with alternating roundels of landscape and calligraphic inscriptions. Each marked to the base of the bowl and the top of the lid with 'Hirado Kasho' in underglaze blue. Each approximately 8 cm high, 10 cm diameter.
