A George III fall front bookcase bureau, in solid Cuban mahogany, the bookcase with deeply carved astral glaze doors below an elegant broken Doric pediment, adjustable shelves and two lower drawers. The bureau desk with a finely fitted interior comprised of carved panels above seven compartments and ten small drawers with a Florentine leather writing slope, above two deep external drawers and a panelled two-door cupboard opening to reveal the original oak sliding shelves.
