A superb Regency period mahogany dressing table, crafted in solid mahogany with ebony stringing and original brass hardware. The rare mechanism allowing the top and false centre drawer to lift upright, revealing apertures for toiletry containers and wash bowls. The front facade with two drawers on either side, the whole resting on four elegantly turned tapered legs. England, circa 1810. 116.5 x 56 x 79.5 cm
