An exquisite petite Japanese cloisonne cup and saucer, Meiji period, 1868-1912, with mark of the Inaba cloisonne Co (est. 1887), a straight-sided cup with bracket handle and saucer all finely wire worked, and decorated with roundels containing little birds on a navy ground, decorated with blue flora and tendrils, refined scroll and scale form borders, to the rim and base, the cup with removable liner, Inaba trademark to both, diameter 10.5 cm (saucer) height 4.5 cm (cup)
