Description:
A Chinese hexagonal shape rosewood brush pot. The rosewood grows very slowly. It takes hundreds of years to become useful material. It is therefore difficult to find a relatively whole piece of material for crafting in the rosewood. As the saying goes, 'Only one in ten pieces of rosewood could be used. This hexagonal shaped rosewood carved brush holder is made of a whole piece of rosewood. The texture of the cow-hair-wave on the wood is perceptible. It feels good to touch. The entire pot is in the hexagonal shape with a string on the mouth and six short feet at the bottom. The bottom is also engraved with the same hexagonal shape. Although the brush pot has very few modifications, it shows a philosophy that is less is more. It is worthy of a collection. Height 14.5 cm, depth 13.5 cm
