A Japanese Tozan studio pottery horse okimono, Ito Tozan III (1900-1970), circa 1960s, the stoneware okimono in the stylised form of a horse, decorated with overglaze enamels and gilding over a clear crackled Kiyomizu glaze. Impressed circular two-character mark 'Tozan' to the base. With the signed tomobako (original box). 18 cm high, 18 cm wide, Other Notes: Ito Tozan III was a notable Teiten exhibition artist in Japan, and became a judge for the exhibition ultimately.
