A Chinese Kraak ware dish, from the late Ming Dynasty, with profuse underglaze blue and white decoration over a fine porcelain body. The central medallion of a stork and pine tree surrounded by borders and cartouches of foliate, flowers, fruit and insect motifs. Ming Dynasty, Wanli period (1573-1620), circa 1620. 27.5 x 5 cm.
