The arched brass dial with silvered chapter Roman numerals and Arcadian minute markings, the dial centre with subsidary dials for day, date and Month. Signed by Johannes George Gruning, Amsterdam on the chapter ring. In a typical Dutch walnut veneered case with bombe base and surmounted by three gilded carved wooden figures. Circa 1770.
