A fine mahogany and mahogany veneered longcase clock, with ormolu mounted, fluted corinthian columns, a fretwork panel and brass orbs. The brass and ormolu mounted face in polished and inked steel surmounted by a hand enamelled celestial dial and signed, 'Ralph Wilson, Stamford'. English, 1777. 257 x 52.5 x 25 cm.
