A fine George III sterling silver neoclassical urn, 1787 London, with maker's mark for Hester Bateman, of elegant proportions with a waisted dome lid with urn finial, high set, beaded strap handles with leafy mounts, bright cut borders and a festooned, vacant cartouche, spigot with ivory handle and raised on a square base with ball feet, hallmarked to lid and foot rim, total weight 1019gr height 39 cm
