A pair of Ming style Chinese zitan horseshoe-back armchairs and a centre table, late Qing, on each chair the sweeping crest rail terminates in outswept hooks above a shaped spandrels, the curved back splat decorated with an openwork cartouche. The rear posts continue to form the back legs below the rectangular seat frame which has a plain shaped apron. The legs are joined by stretchers and foot rests.
