A Locre & Russinger porcelain figure of a gardeners companion, circa 1775 inscribed mark to the base: crossed flaming torches in underglaze blue 17 cm high. Other Notes: Laurentius Russinger worked as a modeller at the Hochst porcelain factory prior to moving to Paris. A similar model of the gardeners companion exists which is attributed to Russinger on which this model would be based.
