Description:
A fine pair of Louis XV period fauteuils a La Reine, mid 18th century, moulded, carved, and parcel gilt, with red lacquer. Each with a cartouche shaped padded back above down-scrolled padded arms. Serpentine shaped rails, decorated with shredded shells and acanthus leaves, terminating on shaped cabriole legs. Upholstered in original Aubusson tapestry of spring floral bouquets. Provenance: Purchased Pascal Moufflet Antiques, nice France height 106 cm, width 72 cm, depth 75 cm
