An early 19th century Indian Talwar, all steel sword with hand forged curved single edge steel blade. Three small areas of dot punched decoration to blade. Cast steel hilt with integral knuckle bow, saucer shaped disc and sunburst dome pommel. Inlaid silver koftgarlie of plants and flowers to hilt, length 83 cm.
