A 19th century 'kitchen Ming' bowl, decorated in under-glaze blue with stylised flowers, remains of crustaceans to base. Reputedly from the 'Desaru' a Chinese vessel which sank in the 1830s with a cargo of Chinese ceramics. The name relates to the resort village of Desaru near the wreck site in Malaysia. The original name of the ship is unknown, diameter 14.5 cm.
