A rare 18th/19th century Chinese Canton enamel marriage bowl, painted lake scene with flowering water lily highlights in green on striking yellow ground, the interior in lavender enamel with blue restrained central spray, lotus form, minor damage consistent with age. Painted four character mark and various labels to base including 'Bird's Collection', diameter 22.5 cm.
