Great Britain: Knight Bachelor insignia in original 'Royal Mint' red boxed case with date letter 'p' as awarded in 1971 to Australian Sl 'Lance' Townsend for services to Obstetrics & Gynaecology; also a few coins and 10/- Coombs/Wilson banknote, fine condition. (Sir Lance Townsend served in the Royal Navy in World War II rising to the rank of Surgeon-Commander. He was Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Melbourne's Royal Women's Hospital as well as Dean of the University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine)
