Carlton - Tom Gorman: Rare 2-page process printed pamphlet 'Address by Edmund Finn Esq, Delivered at the Melbourne Athenaeum, May 26th 1880... re death of Tom Gorman', 11 stanzas written by Edmund 'Garryowen' Finn (Melbourne, 1880), in which he asks Carlton and Melbourne Footballers to donate for the widow's purse. Together with book 'Garryowen's Melbourne' (Melbourne, 1967). A very rare (possibly unique) item of Australian Rules literature. (Tom Gorman was an original member of Carlton's teams from 1864-71. In 1880 Tom and 3 of his children died of the diptheria epidemic in Hamilton)
