A 19th century Russian silver niello box, the lid decorated with featured town buildings and radiating sky, framed by a geometric repeating design, a vacant cartouche conforming to the base, push-button lid release, stamped marks for the assay master Viktor Vasilyevich Savinsky, 1884 and other marks, some losses to the niello. 10.5 cm x 6.5 cm x 2.5 cm.
