A George III silver pair cased pocket watch by Robert Barnes of Liverpool, fusee verge escapement movement with unusual square pillar supports, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the balance cock engraved and pierced with grotesque bearded mask, the movement engraved with maker's name and watch no. 114, the watch case with indistinct London hallmarks, the outer case with no marks evident.
