Four French treen pocket nutcrackers 19th century, circa 1820s, the first of traditional form, crafted from burl boxwood, the second with heavily carved decoration, the third with fluted decoration with a flat handle, the fourth of traditional form, crafted from fruitwood, each with a screw mechanism and a circular opening to encase the nut. 15 cm long, 9 cm long, 12.5 cm long, 12 cm long.
