A Chinese inscribed bronze mirror, Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), the mirror of foliate form, with a vase shaped handle, with an inscription cast in raised relief reading 'Huzhou Shijilang Langzheng Lizizi', meaning 'Bronze mirror cast in Huzhou by Shijilang'., 11 cm wide, 20.2 cm long, other notes: in the Southern Song Dynasty there was a family with the surname 'Shi' living in Huzhou south of lake Tai, that was known for casting mirrors.
