An Indian carved wooden architectural bracket, Gujarat, circa 18th century, the bracket carved from solid teak, depicting a mother dressed in a long flowing robes with bared breasts, wearing jewels and a crown, gently holding and breastfeeding a small child. The whole painted in original green mineral pigment, with a later iron mount at the back for wall-mounting., 62 cm high, 12 cm wide.
