Two Indian paintings of Krishna, circa 19th century, both gouache and gold on paper, the larger image possibly depicting Mohini, surrounded by cobras and a snake charmer within a paradisical forest setting, the other image depicting Rama reclining next to a Rishi within a forest., the larger Mohini painting 30 cm high, 18 cm wide. Provenance: Purchased in new Delhi, 1960s.
