A Chinese or Tibetan saddle and stirrups, circa 18th/19th century, the wooden framed saddle with black lacquered ray skin panels to the front and rear, bound in brass-inlaid iron work depicting dragons, the seat covered in later cushioned velvet with a tiger skin pattern, the saddle with original brass-inlaid matching iron stirrups and thick leather harness further embellished with brass inlaid iron panels along the length of the leather straps., the saddle 49 cm long, 31 cm wide.
