A Mongolian painted terracotta portrait figure of a Lama, possibly Zanabazar, 19th/Early 20th century, a modelled terracotta figure with polychrome and gilded decoration, depicting a realistic portrait of a lama with a characterful face, seated on a cushioned throne, dressed in full winter robes, his right hand in vitarka mudra, his left holding a vessel filled with herbs, and an unfurled lotus blossom issuing from his side., 19 cm high, 18.5 cm wide.
