A rare Chinese biscuit carved Robin's egg Cong-Form vase, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 19th/Early 20th century, the flattened rectangular archaistic shaped porcelain vase relief decorated to each side with very finely carved and appliqued designs of birds amongst flowers, the relief decorations surrounded by a fine robin's egg enamel glaze, the interior of the mouth and base decorated with turquoise enamel., 30.5 cm high, 21 cm wide. Provenance: Purchased in new Hampshire, United States, late 1990s.
