A Chinese archaistic bronze Hu form vase, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), circa 19th century, the archaistic vase of square section hu-form, cast with taotie mask decoration to the front and back, with leaf shaped lappets filled with square spiral decoration below, and two animal mask ring handles to either side., 28.5 cm high, 17 cm wide.
