A French Louis XVI portico mantel clock by Nicolas-Alexandre Folin, c.1790, in white marble and gilt bronze with white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, signed 'Folin L'aine (Folin the elder) a Paris', the 8-day, half hour bell striking barrel movement also signed. The portico columns embellished with ribboned trophies, height 50 cm.
