An 18ct gold open face pocket watch, by G. Falconer, Hong Kong & London, the dial, case and movement numbered 5579, keyless wind three-quarter plate movement, with gold dust cover engraved with owner's name and Chinese characters, hallmarked for 1892. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, railtrack minutes, subs seconds at VI, gold hands, diameter 4.9 cm. Total 99gm. Provenance: by descent from our vendor's great-grandfather who was a sergeant in the Hong Kong Volunteers in the late 1800s early 1900s.
