Els Boone studio pottery bowl. From the 'Unica' Experimental Department of De Porceleyne Fles, Holland. Ex.the collection of Anneke Borren. Anneke worked at this studio in 1967/68, A.B: 'My time at the 'Unica' department, of the Royal Dutch Delft Blue, 'De Porceleyne Fles', in 1967 was hugely rewarding. Based on the Scandinavian practise of placing one's designers and artists within the factory complex. All clocking in at the same time and clocking out. Both designing 'Unica' pieces, as well as work for the factory floor. What was made, belonged to the factory, but the wage was good. I also 'threw' for the tourist every weekend in the showroom.'
