A George III sterling silver neoclassical pedestal coffee pot, 1797 London, with maker's mark for probably John Robins, a shield shape moulded pot with a waisted hinged lid with dome and finial, a curvaceous spout, fruitwood handle with thumb spur, and raised on a base of conforming profile, with delicate bright cut border decoration throughout and sejant-rampant lion armorial, crisply hallmarked underside, and to lid, total weight 864gr, height 30.5 cm
