A large George II sterling silver tankard jug, 1764 London, with maker's initials I*M, the large scale baluster tankard with a domed lid and open shaped thumb spur, a bold hinge decoration to the scroll handle with a target shaped terminal, threaded bands to the mid section and raised on a waisted foot, crisply, hallmarked to lid and underside, silver weight 1054gr height 22 cm
