A fine Italian marble centre table, late 19th, early 20th century, the figured veneer marble top supported on lion paw winged griffin monopodiae standards, once in the ballroom of the Pierre Hotel Fairfax penthouse, New York, acquired from David Jones gallery, Sydney, in 1969.
