An important Franco-Flemish tapestry, 16th century, late Gothic period depicting a Bishop surrounded by Royal court figures in Tudor dress within an architectural setting, set in a woven line border, 84 cm high x 186 cm wide, the size of the work suggest this piece could have been made as a sample for a larger work, perhaps a larger betrothal scene.
