John Wren clock. An impressive French mantel clock with large visual escapement and bim-bam strike, adorned with bronze figures, black slate case engraved with a very unusual Australian coat of arms in landscape lower centre, also inlaid with rougue marble. This clock sat on the mantel in the dining room of John Wren's hotel in Collingwood and has often been remembered there by former patrons of the Yarrawonga clock Museum. Weighing a staggering 12 stone in the old measure this is truly a statement piece. 63 cm high, 72 cm wide, 18 cm deep
