A c.1960 large and impressive Royal Worcester fruit painted pedestal vase and cover by Freeman, painted in the round to the spherical body with peaches, blackberries, cherries and leaves on a mossy green ground, signed by the artist, lion headed scrolling handles, elaborate gold enrichments, the lid with leaf scroll and spire finial. Printed mark to base and shape # 1691, height 36 cm. Provenance: Ex. the estate of our vendor's parents who had a long history of China business ownership in England and founded the Hereford Fine China N.Z. business bringing Rick Lewis out to N.Z. This spectacular vase sold with its original packing box used for its transportation to N.Z.
