A Victorian agate and diamond mourning brooch the large banded agate cabochon applied with an old brilliant-cut diamond floral motif, to a tubular mount with entwined foliate black enamel detail, verso with glazed hairwork panel, engraved details denoting the passing of four members of the Macfie family of Airds; testing as 15ct gold. Weight 34.8g.
