An ornate amethyst and diamond set panel brooch, 18ct yellow gold and silver, made as an antique styled large oval panel of domed profile, centrally set with an oval amethyst of light to medium colour weighing approximately 23.50ct, bezel set in a stepped gold frame, surrounded by pierced foliate work in silver and gold, divided into radiating panels detailed by eighteen bezel set rose cut diamonds, set in silver within pierced detail, fitted with pin.
