A 19th century French mahogany night cupboard with marble top, small drawer and cupboard door with dummy drawer fronts, banded inlay, gilt metal mounts, elegant cabriole legs. 450 X 380 X 84 cm. Provenance: Purchased by our vendors from the 2002 Manchester Estate Sale. Sir William Manchester was an eminent plastic surgeon who developed the first civilian plastic surgical unit in the New Zealand public hospital system on his return from World War II.
