A rare pair of famille verte dishes, Kangxi period, 1662/1722, each one decorated in underglaze blue and vibrant enamels, with a phoenix in flight above a Qylin, beside exotic shrubs issuing from rockwork, the base decorated with a crane roundel and prunus form medallion, fitted boxes 30.5 cm diameter.
