A small zitan leaf-form ink cake stand Qing Dynasty, 18th century, carved in the form of an open leaf with undulating incurved rim, growing from a branch forming the handle and bearing slender stems of fruits, further leaves and tendrils extending over the underside forming the tripod feet, the wood of characteristic dark brown colour with attractive patina, box, 10 cm long.
