A George III sterling silver coffee biggin on stand, John Emes, London, circa 1803, the gently tapering cylindrical body beneath a gadrooned border and a hinged domed cover, flanked by a fruitwood scroll handle, raised on tripod stand with a circular frame housing a separate spirit burner, above lion's paw feet, 912 gms total weight, 30.5 cm high.
