Two Imari porcelain figures of ladies, 18th century, each standing wearing a long kimono decorated in coloured enamels, underglaze-blue and iron-red with gilding, one decorated with blossoming prunus trees, the other with fruiting trees in fenced enclosures, the head with black hair drawn into a high loop chignon at the back, 36.5 cm high.
